Timothy Relihan was transported on the Brampton, departing 8th Nov 1822 and arriving 22nd Apr 1823 with 185 passengers.
The 'Brampton' ship was built in 1817 at King's Lynn, Norfolk, England. Originally used by the East India Company and then whaling before being a convict transport ship. Many of the Irish convicts on this ship were convicted under the Insurrection Act, for White Boy offences. 24 April 1823, the Sydney Gazette reported: On Tuesday last arrived from Ireland, with 183 male convicts, the ship Brampton, Captain Moore. She left London the 28th of July last; sailed from the Cove of Cork on the 8th of November; and last from the Cape of Good Hope, the 20th of February, from whence she brings eleven convicts.—Surgeon Superintendent, Dr. Price, R. N. The guard comprises a detachment of the 3d Regt. (Buffs.)

To the widow and next of kin of Timothy Relihan, late of The Mullion, near Orange, in the Colony of New South Wales, farmer, deceased. GREETING :— WHEREAS it is represented to us, in our Supreme Court of the Colony of New South Wales, that the said Timothy Relihan departed this life on or about the 10 th day of February last past, intestate, having at the time of his death goods, chattels, credits, and effects in the said Colony : We hereby cite you to appear personally, or by your respective proctors, on or before, our said Court, at the Court House, in King street, on, or before the 20th day of March .instant, then and there to accept or refuse letters of administration of the goods, chattles, credits and effects of the said deceased, or to shew cause, if you know any, why the same should not be committed to John Peisley, of Orange, in the Colony aforesaid, a creditor of the said deceased.
