Joseph Rhodes, aged 22, a weaver, from Stockport, for stealing at Stockport, 10 yards of calico shirting, the property of Jesse Howard.—Guilty

29/12/1838: Married Eleanor/Ellen Wilson, (Platina 1837) Ellen was a widow, born 1800 and died 1845 at Longford. Joseph was 40 a bachelor and Ellen was 38.
Left Launceston for Melbourne on 25 Feb 1853 on the “Clarence”.
21/8/1869: Joseph was a Miner with no known wife or children. He died at the age of 70 from Heart Disease and dropsy at Maldon, Victoria.
