George Jones, and George Richardson, 20, wax-doll-maker, for stealing, on the 2nd May inst., at Brighton, 120 whips, value 10s., the properly of Henry Dawes. A former conviction of felony was proved against Jones, and he was sentenced to ten years’ transportation; and Richardson  to four months’ hard labour, ... South Eastern Gazette, 27 May 1845. John Richardson, wax-doll maker, 22, was charged with stealing at Brighton, on the 13th January, two pairs of Wellington boots, property of John Herbert  A former conviction of felony was put in.— Seven years’ transportation. Brighton Gazette, 4 March 1847.
