Tuesday, Rich. Robins and Geo. Franklyn were committed to Marlborough bridewell, charged with stealing reaping hooks from Mr Perry, the Bell inn, Devizes. The former of these prisoners was tried at the last assizes on a charge of robbing Dallimore’s van, and was acquitted. Bath Chronicle, 6 Sept 1821 Salisbury ...the following prisoners were sentenced as under: Richard Bobbins, for stealing reaping hooks from the house of Thos.
