Convict Notes
Removal of Convicts.—The undermentioned ten were on Tuesday removed from the county gaol to Woolwich, preparatory to their exilement to the penal colonies, in accordance with their viz.— For life: Thomas Gardner and James Whitcomb, for the burglary and attempt at murder at Strensham mill; and Stephen Fudger, for a rape on Elizabeth Preece, at Acton Beauchamp.—For fifteen years: John Shelon, for sheep stealing, at Oldswinford; John Robinson, for maliciously stabbing Henry Eaton, at Oldswinford ; and Edwin Archer, for manslaughter, in having caused the death, by stabbing, of George Green, at Rouse Lench.—For ten years: John Brown for horse-stealing, at Yardley; John and John Meredith.
