PRINCIPAL SUPERINTENDANT’S OFFICE, Sydney, 30th January, 1819.
WHEREAS several Prisoners having absented themselves from their Government Work, and taken with them a Boat which has since been found, there is every Reason to suppose there is a numerous Gang collected together for some desperate and illegal Undertaking ; all Constables are hereby required to use their utmost Vigilance in apprehending the undermentioned, and lodging them in the nearest Gaol.
William Russell, arrived in Ship Tottenham ; fair ruddy complexion ; dark floren hair ; hazel eyes;
5 feet 8 inches high; from Carpenters’ Lumberyard.
