Burglary at Loose. Edwin Bassett, 16; William Sawyer, 19, John Andrews, 24, John Sawyer, 17, for burglary in the dwelling-house of Elizabeth Cbarteris, at Loose, and stealing therefrom four cloaks, three muffs, one tippet, sixteen silver spoons, and other articles, value £15, her property. South Eastern Gazette, 2 Mar 1836. -------------------------------------------------- The undermentioned convicts were last week removed from the county goal and put on board the Fortitude hulk, at Chatham :—James Thurthill, John Sawyer, John Hayes, William Sawyer, John Andrews, James Dabin, and Joseph Bennett, transported for life. - John Reuben, Charles Brisley, and John Smith, transported for 14 years.—James Taylor, James Scott, Charles Choat, and Timothy Reardon, transported for 7 years.
