The Convict Indentures state that Ellen Scott was 21 years old. She could read; religion Roman Catholic; status single and a native of Dublin City. She was a house maid. Ellen was convicted of stealing a fowl on 24 October 1837 at Dublin and sentenced to 7 years. She had two prior convictions and served 6 months and 3 months. Physical attributes: Height 5 feet 1 1/4 inches; complexion ruddy and freckled; hair brown and eyes grey.
Received Certificate of Freedom in 1846.
