1852: Marriage to Bridget MURPHY (transported per 'Blackfriar' 1851). Link to her record - https://convictrecords.com.au/convicts/murphy/bridget/130987. Daughter Hannah SEABOURNE (SEYMOUR) was admitted to the Queen's Orphan School, Hobart in 1871 when she was aged 11 or 12 years. Papers on record with reason for her admission. Mother was deceased by this time.




George was born C1801-1823, although it was stated he was 20 years old at his trial on 29/10/1842. George was born at Manningtree Essex, he was 5'4 1/2" tall, illiterate, single, protestant, fresh complexion, brown hair, hazel eyes, tattoos. George is my Great Great Grandfather, he was married to Bridget Murphy and after her death lived with Hannah/Annie Lawless on the Tasman Peninsula. He had 16 children. Two of his sons and a nephew fought with NZ Army during WW1, Cecil Seabourne was KIA.
