Francis Shanly was convicted at Roscommon, Ireland on 27/03/1847 for robbery - stealing meat and money. 1st conviction. 7yr sentence. Good conduct. Brother Peter Shanly also charged and transported aboard same ship. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the 'Hyderabad' arriving 26/08/1849.
