1836 - Received on board the ship; Ganymede. Moored at Woolwich & Devonpoint on the 11 August 1836. Age; 20 years Tried; 29 June 1836 with William Shaw, aged 20 years. Offence; Breaking & Entering Warehouse Discharged ; V.D.L. 7 March 1837. Noted on William Shaw's Indent No; 2367. Transported for Breaking into a Warehouse and stealing Nails. Father; transported for a similar offence. Father Joseph Shaw, transported abt. 18 months ago for 7 stealing nails.
