Francis was 19 years old when convicted.

1837: Age 19 Assigned to the AA Company, Newcastle.
14/2/1838: Newcastle, Coal Miner, 5’4” tall, ruddy and sallow complexion, light sandy hair, hazel eyes, two middle upper teeth apart, scar top of right side of head, scar inner corner of left eyebrow, tattoos.

14/3/1838: Apprehended after absconding from the AA Company.

17/9/1842: COF
