Family connections for Mary (Sixsmith) are: SIXSMITH Mary Sixsmith) was born probaly in Queens Co. Ireland about 1802 & became a servant of all work. She had a first marriage/relationship which produced a child. She was a widow when tried for stealing money at Athy Co.Kildare Ireland, sentenced to 7years & arrived at Sydney Cove NSW as a convict, perhaps with her child, on 13 1 1830 after a voyage of 4months on ASIA; she was Protestant.>>> [Some details taken from this Website] 1.??? (Sixsmith?) possibly travelled to NSW with his/her mother on ASIA. .. >>>Mary Sixsmith) applied for permission to marry secondly Edward (Sparrow) on 15 11 1830 & apparantly did so. She was issued her Certificate of Freedom no.35/1129 on 10 10 1835. CCONVICTdone Edward (Sparrow) was born about 1792. He was tried at Northampton Assizes, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW or VDL as a convict about 5 4 1820 after a voyage of about 5months on COROMANDEL. An Edward (Sparrow) is recorded in 1828 as lodging with Ann (Sparrow) & James (Oliver) at Wilberforce.
