Essex Assizes. Edward Smith and Harriet Horn, were indicted for burglariously breaking and entering the dwelling-house of W. Garrett, at Hornchurch in this county, and stealing a great variety of articles of wearing apparel. Globe, 13 Mar 1812. ------------------------------------------------------ Assize News Edward Smith, alias Parsons, and Harriot Ann Horn, for burglary at Hornchurch; ... received sentence of Death. Henry Smith, Thomas Styles, and George Smith were left for execution the others were reprieved. Norfolk Chronicle, 28 Mar 1812. -------------------------------------------------- Harriet Ann Horn was transported on the Emu.
