Ellen Smith was listed as being 30-32 years old on arrival in VDL - birth dates of 1819-21 listed.

Ellen was 5’1¼” tall, pale complexion, black hair, hazel eyes, freckled, burn on right elbow, illiterate - a widow with 2 children on board, RC.

22/3/1853: Married Aaron Hubbard,(listed as Aaron Hibberd - on the David Malcolm 1845), aged 35, a Sawyer__ Ellen was aged 30, a widow __ married at St. George’s church, Hobart.

14/3/1854: TOL
15/8/1854: Recommended for a CP
17/7/1855: CP approved.

2/4/1856: Aron Hibberd born Hobart.
March 1857: Aaron Hibbert born Hobart.

23/1/1868: Aaron Hibbert died, aged 52, from bruises received by being thrown down by a cow - at Gordon.
