OLD BAILEY 237. WILLIAM SMITH was indicted for stealing, on the 19th of December , sixteen brushes, value 15 s. , the goods of John Pugh . HENRY DUNTHORN . I am servant to John Pugh , an oilman , who lives in Queen-street, Cheapside . On the 19th of December the prisoner came in, and took these brushes from the door; he was going out, and I laid hold of him, he then dropped them, and ran off. I pursued, secured him, and gave him in charge. (Property produced and sworn to.) GUILTY . Aged 33. Transported for Seven Years . London Jury, before Mr. Recorder.
