County of Antrim Assizes. Patrick Spellman, for stealing two pigs, at Belfast, on the 11th December, the property of John Jellett. Guilty. Belfast Commercial Chronicle, 14 March 1832. Patrick Spelman, aged 38, convicted of pig stealing, at Spring Assizes, to be transported seven years. Belfast Newsletter, 10 Aug 1832.
