John Stansfield was 5’10 ¼” tall, dark brown hair, dark hazel eyes, fair complexion, middling stout, first joint of little finger left hand cut off, coal pit mark right arm, unmarried, 28 years old, illiterate and protestant. 15/8/1867: TOL 28/5/1872: CP, Bunbury. Known areas: Fremantle, Perth, Swan, Wellington. Comments: Labourer, wood cutter, quarryman, sawyer. Brother Moses on same voyage.
