Leicester Journal Leicestershire, England 21 Oct 1831 LEICESTER AND LEICESTERSHIRE Elizabeth Stocks, 22, charged with stealing a purse, containing a £5 promissory note, four sovereigns, &c. from the person of John Brookhouse, of Ansty. Elizabeth Stocks was listed as 26 years old on arrival. Native Place: Nottingham. Occupation: Dressmaker/housemaid/bar maid. Elizabeth could read, was Protestant, married with 2 male and 1 female children, 4'11" tall, brown and freckled complexion, sandy hair, light hazel eyes, lost a front tooth left side upper jaw, small brown speck betwixt fourth and little fingers of right hand. 10/4/1839: COF - aged 32
