Thomas Tassiker was 34 years old at the time of his trial at Lancaster on 9th December 1848.

All the records I found for Thomas were listed as "TASSIKER". Thomas was a 34 year old carder and was tried with a number of others at Liverpool in December 1848 and charged with "sedition and compassing or devising to levy war against the Queen". There were 9 English Chartists transported on the Adelaide and they were immediately granted tickets of leave on their arrival, and they were all pardoned 7 years later in December 1856. 6/12/1849: TOL 24/2/1857 (Hobart Mercury) Free Certificate. Thomas was still in the colony at this time, however I found no other records of him.
