Records for Edward are difficult to locate.
In the colony, Edward married Ellen Nowland/Nolan (Convict, 1821, “John Bull”) on the 19th September 1824, at Castlereagh.
The couple had 5 children between 1824 and 1835.

[Ref T0119] Taylor, Edward, 43, government servant, Atlas2, 1815, life, Protestant, labour, Richmond. 30 acres, 20 cleared and cultivated.
[Ref T0120] Taylor, Ellen, 27, free by servitude, John Bull, 1821, 7 years
Protestant.
[Ref T0121] Taylor, Louisa 3 and a half, born in the colony
[Ref T0122] Taylor, Elizabeth, 2, born in the colony.

Edward Taylor died 13th October 1835, leaving Ellen a widow with 5 young children.
On 12th March 1836, Ellen married William Davis at St Peters, Richmond.
William was the eldest son of Joseph Davis (Convict, 1807, “Duke of Portland”) and Mary Ann Rogers (Convict, 1808, “Speke”).
Willam and Ellen had a further 4 children, born between 1837 and 1843.
