Folios 25-30: Margaret Thomson, aged 36, convict, taken ill at sea; sick or hurt, mania, seized suddenly with hysteric pyroxyms consisting of fits of violent convulsive movment, incoherency and violent delirium, has been long subject to fits of epilepsy; put on sick list 6 December 1829, died 28 January 1830. Folio 30: 29 January 1830, inspected the body of the above patient, found the lungs generally adhering with many tubercles in the substance of the lungs, but none in state of suppuration, the abdomen liver was found toberculated and much contracted in bulk, stomach toward the pyloric extremely thicken and hard with diffused redness.
