Trial 16 Oct 1840 at Tullamore, Kings Co IRE for stealing sheep. Trades: labourer & shepherd Desc: aged 25 from Galway IRE, 5'4" tall, blue eyes, red hair, slightly pockmarked. In VDL he was sentenced to 6 days solitary confinement for insolence to his master. TOL 17 Apr 1846 Certificate of Freedom 2 Dec 1850 Permission to marry Sep 1846 - Mary Turner (Greenlaw 1844). Married 20 Oct 1846 in Launceston. They had at least 7 children born between 1847-1860. They settled in the Longford & Deloraine areas. Mary died 1903 at Deloraine. Martin died 3 Nov 1904, aged 89 at Deloraine
