UK, Royal Navy Medical Journals, 1817-1856 Name: Maria Tinne Age: 55 .Birth Year: abt 1775 Ship: Earl of Liverpool Nature of the Disease: Atrophia No of the Case; 33 Name: Maria Tinne. This woman was one of the two persons who had been convicted at the Colony of Demerara & received a sentence of transportation. She was sent to England and was received on board the Earl of Liverpool from the Narcupis? Hospital Ship at Woolwich. I felt considerable hesitation at receiving her as she had been in bed complained of illness on board the Narcupis? for a period of 10 weeks ...... Age; 55 Where taken ill: Mulatto Death; March 5th, She continued to loose strength and expired this day quite emaciated.
