Henry Trickey was transported on the Surrey Or Surry, departing 2nd Oct 1822 and arriving 4th Mar 1823 with 161 passengers.

Built at Harwich in 1811 a square-rigged transport ship of 443 tons and copper lined she had two decks with a height between decks of 5 ft. 8 ins. In 1818, she had a major refit increasing the decks (and convict carrying capacity) to three. She was owned by the London firm of F. & C.F. Mangles.

15/11/1821 Bath Chronicle and Weekly Gazette Somerset, England. Henry Trickey and Jas. Harrington were on Saturday night committed for trial the Taunton magistrates, charged with stealing a watch. No ship found for James Harrington. 1824: Henry Trickey, was a crown servant in the employ of Captain Raine, he lived on his master's estate at the two-mile creek, distant five miles from O'Connel-plains, and eighteen from Bathurst. 1/12/1834 The Sydney Herald: BATHURST QUARTER SESSIONS Henry Trickey, assigned to Thomas Raine, Esq., for pilfering his master's property entrusted to him, as a driver, to convey to an outstation. 18/1/1835: Sent to Moreton Bay per ‘Isabella’ Henry was then described as 26 years old, 5’ 7 ½” tall, dark complexion, brown hair, hazel eyes. Native place: Devonshire. 7/6/1836: Henry died at the Moreton Bay Hospital, aged 26. (Which would make him 13 years old when convicted, if the age stated is correct). Convict Death Register also has him as 26 years old.
