The Australian Convict Indentures state that Thomas Trigg was aged 36 years old. He could neither read nor write; Religion Protestant; Status single and a native of Hereford. He was convicted of house breaking on 4 April 1828 and sentenced to life. He had no prior convictions. Physical attributes: Height 5 feet 8 inches; complexion dark ruddy; hair dark brown and eyes grey. Transport number 196.
Assigned to Mr Thomas Tendall, Bathurst.
There are two additional lines of comments for Thomas Trigg. He is that last convict listed for transport on the Governor Ready and is not included in the Lieutenant Governor of Ireland’s Warrants. He may have suffered from a fever that delayed his transport.
