1829 - Waterloo's first voyage arrived at Sydney Cove 9 July 1829. 180 Male Convicts. 2 Died on voyage. 7 sent to the hospital on landing. Total mustered; 171. Stephen Addison - Commander Michael Goodsire - Surgeon Superintendent [His wife was a passenger] 1842 - The Waterloo voyage of 1842 was wrecked on 28/8/1842. 189 people drowned, these being 143 convicts, 15 men of the 99th Regiment, together with 17 wives and children, the boatswain Mr. Chiverton, the sailmaker, the carpenter and 11 of the crew. Convicts were then received in Cape Town Prison from the wreck of the Waterloo, 2nd September 1842. They then completed their voyage to VDL per “Cape Packet” which arrived on 23/11/1842.

8/4/1837 Manchester Courier and Lancashire General Advertiser Lancashire, England: Domestic Intelligence STEALING FROM DWELLING-HOUSE. John Wagstaffe, aged 32, was indicted for stealing, on the September last, a five pound note, fourteen sovereigns and a half, and pair of ear-drops, from the dwelling-house of John Royle, Hyde. John was married with 1 male and 1 female children, and living at Stockport. John was listed as 34 years old on arrival, he was literate, protestant, 5'5" tall, sallow complexion, light brown hair, hazel grey eyes, lost canine teeth in upper jaw, scar on bridge of nose, scar under left side of chin, scar inside right elbow. Occupation: Razor grinder. 11/4/1846: John Wagstaff died at the Sydney Hospital.
