Marriage Permissions https://libraries.tas.gov.au/Digital/CON52-1-3/CON52-1-3P071 Paul Houghton, per Navarino, and Sarah Wallace, per Tory. Date of permission, 19 Feb 1849. Married on the 17 March 1849.




In July 1844, at the High Court of Justiciary, Sarah Wallace and Isabella Dewer were convicted of assault & robbery on a man in Greenside Place (no further detail). A third accused was found Not Proven. Wallace and Dewer received transportation for 14 years. - see Scotsman newspaper 17 July 1844 p 3 on 'High Court of Justiciary'.
