Named after Sir Robert Seppings, a naval architect (1767-1840), who was Surveyor of the Navy from 1813 to 1835.
On this voyage the Master was Richard S Stuart and the Mate was Thomas J Clark. The Surgeon was Lennox T Cunningham.
