Hulk report: orderley. Sent to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the ship 'Persian' arriving there 7 Nov 1830. Single man. Colony of VDL: Assigned to Public Works 1831: stealing, in the Prison Barracks. Committed for trial. Sentence extended by 3 yrs. 1833: Gross insolence - 50 lashes. 1834: Stealing a meal.
