The guard consists of Captain Bull (with Mrs. Bull, 4 children, and 1 female servant), and 30 rank and file of the 99th Regt., - 4 women, and 6 children. Colonial Times (Hobart) 25 Oct 1842.

Barbara Adams was transported for 'stealing a gown'. Barbara was illiterate, 5'4" tall, brown hair, hazel eyes, fresh complexion, unmarried, RC, native place: Galway, scar on upper lip. 2/9/1851: TOL 4/1/1855: Free by Servitude. 13/2/1851: Married Joseph Reece, (his age was given as 50 on their marriage registration but I also have a date of 1825 for his birth, so uncertain of which ship he arrived on. Joseph died 14/5/1861 and Barbara then married George Searle on 17/5/1864 at Launceston. 11/1/1883: Larceny - 2 months at Launceston 29/3/1883: Larceny - 4 months at Launceston Both of these she was listed as Barbara Reece. 24/3/1884: Barbara died of cancer - listed in the Daily Telegraph, Launceston as 'Reece'.
