Marriage: 26 July 1841 at Court House, Oatlands, Tasmania, according to rites of United Church of England & Ireland. Frances Adams aged 20yrs, spinster. George Wright, aged 33 yrs, bachelor, carpenter. (ref. 37/1/2 no. 1220)




Frances ADAMS was convicted at the CCC, London 23 Oct 1837. Previous offences. 7 yr transportation sentence. Sent to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the 'Nautilus' arriving 1 Sept. 1838. Aged 18yrs; nurse maid; 4'9". Native Place - London Assignments of work service in the Colony. Ticket of Leave granted. Free Pardon 8 Sept 1849.
