He was tried w/his wife for theft of cutley etc at Clonmel Tipperary co. on 31 3 1827, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 30 1 1828 after a voyage of 4months on MARQUIS OF HUNTLEY; he was 5'9" fair complexion fair hair grey eyes-he was also described as 5'8.25" ruddy complexion dark brown hair dark hazel eyes-& Catholic. He was assigned to George (Windham) at Hunters River. He (surname Aheron) is recorded in 1828 with his family as servant for William (Carter). He was Free by Servitude by 1834.
