William Ainsworth was listed as 17 years old on arrival. Native Place: Manchester. Occupation: Smith and farrier's boy. William was illiterate, Protestant, single, 5'2¾" tall, ruddy freckled and a little pockpitted complexion, red hair, hazel eyes, scar heel of right hand, E A W A inside lower left arm, three blue dots back of same, breast and arms freckled. 2/7/1841: COF - aged 25, 5'5¾" tall, lost 3 front teeth in upper jaw.
