At the quarter sessions for the burgh and town of Kendal, held on the 16th inst. the following persons were tried, viz. Christopher Airey, carrier between Lancaster and Kendal, for obtaining money under false pretences, to be transported for seven years. Carlisle Journal, 25 April 1801. Hulk Records. HO-9-8-3.
