Justiciary Court, July 2 This day the Court proceeded to the trial of Daniel Aitchison, accused of stealing gold watch, chain, and seals, from the person of a gentleman, on the streets of this city, about 8 o'clock of an evening in the month of November last, and of being habit and repute common thief. The pannel pleaded Not Guilty ; and after the examination of several witnesses, the Jury returned a verdict finding him Guilty of the crime libelled; and he was transported beyond seas for years.
