On Thursday morning the following convicts left Newgate for the hulks in Portsmouth harbour, viz.-- James Smith. Henry Goodall. Charles Tandy, Thos James, William Moore, Thomas Collings, George Carter, William Hawkins, Henry Givens, Joseph Alden. T. Player, Wm. Henley, Edward Tryait, William .oiel. John Davis, Thos. Prosser, Jeremiah O’Brien and Ham Morgan. Bristol Times, 27 Aug 1814.




At an adjournment of the quarter-sessions for this city and county on Monday last, the following prisoners received their sentences, viz. Joseph Alden, for stealing hats, and Tho. Player, stealing peppermint, seven years transportation; Bristol Times, 5 Feb 1814.
