Absconder--On the instant, from the Gang employed at the Alexandra Battery, Sandy Bay Road. George Holden, alias Alexander McClean, per Theresa, undergoing a sentence of 6 months for larceny ; tried P.P. Kingston, on the 6th instant. Description--46 years old, 5 feet 5 1/2 inches high, fresh complexion, large head, dark brown hair, clean shaved, high forehead, brown eyebrows, light hazel eyes, medium nose, broad chin, native place Yorkshire, an engineer, scars on back of right hand, on forehead, above right eye and on right upper lip ; his wife resides at the Huon, to which place he is likely to go.
