Certificate of Freedom No.42/1576 dated 9 September 1842, Prisoner No.27/1193, Year of Birth 1809, Native Place: Glasgow, Trade: Rope Maker, Trial 26 September 1826, Held a Ticket of Leave No.34/223 dated 26 April 1834 torn up and cancelled.

Son of Robert Morrison. Lived at Stewarts Land, Tobago Street, Calton, Glasgow and worked as a cowfeeder and cart driver prior to conviction in Scotland. Married Elizabeth Wilbow (nee Mitchell) on 28 Jan 1841 at Pitt Town. Buried old Pitt Town Cemetery with Elizabeth. Headstone exists but top corner missing.
