Nottingham Assizes. Thomas Bakewell, aged 18, Isaac Alexander, aged 19, and Jas. Alexander, aged 17, for stopping Thos. Blackshaw on the highway at West Bridgford, and robbing him of 2l. 5s. 6d. — No bill against Bakewell and James Alexander, Isaac Alexander condemned. The said Thomas Bakewell, further charged with robbing George Parks upon the highway at West Bridgford, of a sickle, a reaping-hook, and a pocket-handkerchief. Also of robbing Francis Pike Hewitt, upon the highway at Lent on, of silver watch. And further, with robbing George Fowler, upon the highway at Lenton of a silver watch, &c — Condemned. Stamford Mercury, 23 Mar 1821.
