Family conections for Richard (Allem) are: ALLEM Richard (Ellem/Allam) son of John (Ellem) & Jane (???) was born on 1 6 1800 in Lancashire. He was a labourer at Nether Alderley Cheshire when tried w/others for stealing a plough beam etc of Sir John Thoms (Stanley) & others at Chester city Quarter Sessions in October 1817, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 14 9 1818 after a voyage of 5months on ISABELLA: he was 5'8.5". He was assigned to Richard (Kelly) at Lower Portland Head. He was issued his Ticket of Leave no.496 in March 1823 & moved to Hawkesbury. On 17 2 1825 he was issued a licence no.083/3206. He had a relationship with Charlotte/Charlotte Ellen (Huxley her third relationship). He was Free by Servitude by 1827. Some details taken from this Website Charlotte/Charlotte Ellen (Huxley) was born in 1802. She married firstly (1of3) James (Neale his first) on 5 7 1819 at St Matthews CofE Windsor. She had a second (2of3) relationship with Francis (De Silvre). She died on 30 11 1885 age about83 mother of at least 15children-mostly boys.
