He arrived at VDL 7 Dec 1839 along with 259 other passengers. His trade was a needle maker, he was 5 ft 8 1/2 aged 27, complexion Sallow, head long, hair brown, whiskers and eyebrows brown, eyes Hazel, long nose, lost part of finger on left hand. He had six brothers who mostly ended up tranported for similar crimes. other members of the family came out to Australia on assisted passage.
