Francis Allen was convicted along with Valentine Goodwin (Earl Spencer 1813) for ‘Stealing a male ass.’ Colonial Secretary Papers: ALLEN, Francis. Per "Fortune", 1813 1820: In service of Charlotte Ware of Airds. Memorial (Fiche 3013; 4/1823 No.8) 1863: Francis died at the Liverpool Benevolent Asylum, aged 88.
