Also committed to Carlisle gaol, on Thursday last, by the Rev. Rd. Matthews, of Wigton, Isaac Ray and John Allan, charged feloniously stolen from the person of Patrick Fager, of Baldwinholme, in the parish of Orton, labourer, one promissory note for the payment of two hundred pounds, one guinea note, several shillings in silver, and a silver watch, the property of the Patrick Fager. We understand that the offenders attempted Fager’s life. Carlisle Patriot, 4 July 1829. ROBBERY. ISAAC RAY, 21, and JOHN ALLEN, 21, were put to the bar, and indicted for having, on 8th of June , committed a violent assault on the person of Patrick Fagee, and for having taken from ...
