Richard Allen had two previous convictions, once for stealing oranges and 2 months in Warwick for Shoplifting. 31/12/1828: Was a constable. 24/9/1831: CP 3/10/1834 Trumpeter General, Hobart: James Hoyle, Richard Allen, Henry Walker, and Thomas Burrell, for cattle stealing; Not Guilty. Detained on another charge. -- Found Not Guilty.
