William Allen was convicted at Warwick 03/08/1843 for Burglary. 10yr sentence. Transported to Norfolk Island and Van Diemen’s Land (Tasmania) on the ‘Agincourt’ arriving 9/11/1844.

Single man; brass founder; C of E; literate; 31yrs of age; pale sallow complexion; dk brown hair; Hazel eyes.
Native Place: nr Birmingham.

Station Gang: Norfolk Island
Transferred to Van Diemen’s Land 8/10/1846.

Ticket of Leave 20/11/1849

Application for permission to marry Elizabeth Munday (per Asia) 14/5/1850. Married Hobart 17/6/1850 (ref. 242/1850-37)
