Family connections for Catherine (Allison) are: ALLISON Catherine (Allison) was born in Renfrewshire about 1811 & became a servant. She was living at Blackhall Paisley Renfrewshire when tried for picking pockets at Glasgow Court of Justiciary Lanarkshire Scotland, sentenced to 14years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 3 12 1827 after a voyage of 3.5months on LOUISA. She was living at Parramatta age17 when she married William (Haslam his second marriage) of Parramatta on 10 6 1828 at Scots Kirk Sydney. She was issued her Certificate of Freedom on 20 9 1841. [Some details taken from this Website] William Marken/in (Haslem spelling) was born on 15 7 1803 & baptised on 28 8 1803 at St Johns CofE Parramatta. He married firstly Margaret (Palmer-Adcock her third marriage) on 5 4 1824 at St Lukes CofE Liverpool. He died in 1865 age about61 father of 5children.
