c1821: Stated aged 28, in 1849 Quarterly list in prisons and on hulks. 14-Jun-1847: 1545. JOHN AMBROSE was indicted for feloniously assaulting John Squire, a peace officer, and rescuing from his custody one John Witty, charged with felony; to which he pleaded GUILTY. Aged 28.— Transported for Seven Years. 30-Sep-1849: Detained on the Prison Hulk, Warrio, at Woolwich, London.
