Convict Notes

After the death of Thomas (1813) Mary became wife(?) of William Reynolds. Thus Thomas' children would have been raised by William & Mary.

Thomas was transported on the "Scarborough" as part of the Second Fleet. He was living with Mary Madden (Convict, Anne, 1801) by about 1804. They are recorded in the 1806 Muster: [A0035] Thomas Ambrose, Scarborough, TL, works with Thomas Reiby. [A3204] Mary Madden, Anne, Housekeeper for Thomas Ambrose. Thomas and Mary had 3 children, Thomas 1804, William 1808 and Catherine 1811. Thomas died in 1813 so is not recorded in the 1814 Muster or indeed the 1828 Census.
