Ann Anderson was convicted at London in Oct 1820 and given a 7yr sentence. Transported to NSW on the 'Providence' 1821 and then on to Van Diemen's Land. Gaol Report: Very quiet and well behaved. Husband at Marylebone and 2 children (boys). 29/07/1823: Assigned to Mulgrave - drunk & disorderly - sent to Female Factory, George Town. several other records of misconduct 1828: Assigned to Mr. Hurn (Hern) Ticket of Leave granted. 11/07/1837: Larceny - committed for trial. 22/08/1837: Convicted at Launceston of stealing a table cloth. 6mths imprisonment, hard labour at Female Factory, Launceston.
